Flying Colors Speech Therapy is a pediatric private practice serving children in Scarborough, ME and surrounding areas. Flying Colors offers speech-language therapy and feeding therapy to children of all ages in the comfort of your own home, in our private office, or via Telehealth.

Children succeed most when having fun. Treatment is meant to be enjoyable, motivating, functional, and meaningful. Importance is placed on building positive relationships with the child and the family.

Jessie is a Maine licensed and ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist. She completed her bachelors' degrees at the University of New Brunswick, Canada and received her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Texas at Dallas. She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, rehabilitation, schools, home health care, and private practice.
Jessie's passion for helping children with communication difficulties is the reason she became a speech language pathologist and opened her own private practice. Jessie individualizes therapy to each person's needs and interests so that children have fun as they gain new skills. While she has treated both children and adults with a wide variety of speech, language, and feeding disorders her favorite treatment areas include early language intervention, articulation & phonological disorders, stuttering, and communication difficulties secondary to autism.

Services & Pricing
Flying Colors is currently accepting private pay (out of pocket) only. Fee must be paid at time of service. Upon request, a monthly superbill can be provided. Superbills can often be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement. It is the responsibility of the client's family to contact their insurance provider to discuss whether superbills are accepted / reimbursed.

Evaluations
Speech & Language: $300
Articulation Evaluation: $200
Feeding Evaluation:$250

Formal and informal assessment tools are used to determine presence or absence of a speech, language, fluency, or feeding disorder. Evaluations include a written report and therapy goals.

Therapy

30 minute session: $60
45 minute session: $85
60 minute session: $110

Therapy sessions are individualized with your child's specific needs, goals, and interests in mind. Therapy can be offered at the child's home, private clinic, or via teletherapy.
Caregiver Coaching
Included in price of therapy

Caregivers can be offered training and home exercise programs to help children maintain and improve skills learned in therapy sessions.
